YOGA - Learn how to integrate mind and body: postures, breath work, stretching, strengthening & relaxation. Leave feeling centered and energized. You will always be guided to go within and challenge yourself at your own pace and level of experience.
Beginner YOGA – Never done yoga before? This is a great place to start. We have 3 different classes - Meridian Yoga (Mon.), Hatha with introduction to Meditation(Tues.) and Classical Yoga (Wed.). A basic introduction to breathing techniques, yoga postures, and a final guided relaxation. This class is ongoing and you can join anytime.
Gentle YOGA – Gentle stretching and toning through seated, standing and lying-down postures - designed to open your hips, strengthen your tissues and invite deep breath, peace and calm into your body. Great for pre-natal or post-natal.
MeridianYOGA –The focus is on invigorating postures to control and release the healing flow of energy in the body, coupled with powerful and energizing Kundalini breathwork.
Hatha YOGA – Traditional yoga postures connected with flowing movements. Focus is on going within, body alignment & mindful breathwork. Gently challenging, deeply uplifting.
YOGA Breath – Raise your energy and calm your mind using powerful breathing exercises from Kundalini yoga…the yoga of consciousness! Cleanses and nourishes the body.
YOGA-Form/Technique - An active form of Yoga based on traditional Ashtanga and Iyengar poses. The emphasis is on breath, technique and alignment to stretch, strengthen and release the body and to create and awaken body awareness.
YOGA for Energy – A vitalizing and uplifting blend of traditional Yoga postures and deep breathing patterns, banishing the blues and stimulating mental clarity, balance and inner joy.
Pre-Natal YOGA – Pregnant or thinking about it? Join us and start conditioning your body and mind to receive and nourish your new baby. Gentle yoga postures designed to open your hips, strengthen your tissues and invite nourishment through breath, peace and calm.
Healing YOGA - For those living with any form of imbalance in the body – chronic or acute, such as stiff joints, back or neck pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, diabetes, cancer or heart disease. The focus is on gentle healing yoga postures, longer holds, and deep relaxation through loving attention, guided imagery, breathwork and visualization.
MEDITATION Course – Learn to Meditate – 5 week session ~ Basic techniques to teach you how to breathe effectively and focus your attention on the ‘now’. Experience the powerful benefits of meditation: reduce fear-based thinking, panic, anxiety and pain. Increase deep relaxation, calm, peacefulness, better sleep, more focus and more energy! Start your life practice today. Small group course taught by Rukhshana (CD included)
